The C.O. R. E. Heart Awards is fundraising gala honoring individuals and organizations whose service impacts the essence of the lives they reach.
This extraordinary event is to recognize compassionate, outstanding, refined and exceptional individuals and organizations that contribute significantly to their communities as they lead by example to enhance the lives of people holistically.
The event will include awards being given in various categories, dinner, entertainment and more.

Proceeds from the C. O. R. E. Heart Awards will be donated to EMB Chrysalis Foundation’s I. G. N. I. T. E. Academy & Institute and Mona’s Heart Outreach, Inc.
I. G. N. I. T. E. Academy & Institute is a youth mentoring and leadership development program. The Academy is for ages 10-15. The Institute is for ages 16-21.
It is the mission of I. G. N. I. T. E Academy & Institute to awaken youth with confidence, assurance and high self-esteem and empower and equip them with tools to be effective leaders.
We help young people reveal who they really are on the inside and how they can fulfill their life’s purpose.
We accomplish this with six components:

Impart wisdom and knowledge through educational programming.

Guide young people in the right direction.

Nurture the gifts, talents, and abilities within each young person.

Influence the outcome of their lives by equipping them with the tools to be their authentic selves.

Transform the lives of young people by exposing them to new things.

Empower young people to make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of humankind.
I. G. N. I. T. E. Academy & Institute is EMB Chrysalis Foundation’s signature program and vehicle in which scholarships are awarded to program participants.
Mona’s Heart Outreach, Inc., 501(c)3 non-profit organization, started serving Tarrant and Dallas County residents October 1, 2010 in loving memory of Minister LaMona J. Wills. Her heart was as big as Texas and she made it her mission to help anyone that she could. Today her legacy, love, and service continues through Mona’s Heart Outreach, Inc. that was co-founded by her only sister, Angela Pitcher and niece Minister Shonny DeBouse-Young.
Our mission is to provide assistance, resources, and relief to those who are affected by homelessness, domestic violence, and medical illness in the DFW Metroplex.
We also offer support services and resources to veterans, senior citizens, and those who have experienced displacement through financial hardships. If we can’t help, it is our goal to help locate resources. At Mona’s Heart Outreach everything we do is done from a sincere place of compassion and love and with the intention of helping others to improve their quality of life.

This award is given to an individual who triumphs courageously over every challenge and circumstance as a heart disease survivor and inspires others along the way.
Healing Hearts Award
This award is given to the doctor who has exhibited excellence, integrity, care and compassion in their respective field of medicine.
Healthy Hearts Award
This award is given to an individual who promotes healthy lifestyles in the areas of nutrition and/or fitness.
Beauty of the Heart Award
This award is given to an individual who diligently gives of their time and talent to advocate healthy living and support the mission and initiatives of local and national heart health-focused organizations.
Heart of the Community Award
This award is given to an organization or organizations that through public advocacy, leadership, vision and courage, have furthered the development of social policy that’s beneficial to children and their families.
Servant’s Heart Award
This award is given to an individual or individuals who lead with passion, enthusiasm, and commitment as they serve by giving of their time, talent and resources to meet the community needs and impact the lives of humankind.
International Trailblazer of the Year Award
Awarded to the individual who promotes healthy living through diverse platforms. They advocate living a healthy lifestyle as a leader and give time and talent to unlock groundbreaking initiatives that advance health and wellness globally.
