Growth and Change are what life is all about. The process for organizations is no different. As a result of a strengthen mission and scope, Total You Unlimited has through a rebirth emerging as EMB Chrysalis Foundation.

After six years of existence as Total You Unlimited, the Founder, President and CEO felt a need to refine the organization overall to reflect the strengthen mission and scope. According to www.dictionary.com, the word “Chrysalis” means a preparatory or transitional state.

Everyone needs support and a boost to reach the places they desire to go. As we go to the next level sometimes we get unstuck and it happens in various areas of life at various times. We all return back to the Chrysalis stage which is a place to gain strength, encouragement, protection, nurturing, etc. It is the launching pad for the “butterfly” to flutter and emerge from into his/her destination.

There will be four areas of concentration for the Foundation:

Holistic Empowerment – an intimately interconnected, characterized process of becoming stronger and more confident in controlling one’s life by reference to the whole. This will encompass the five areas of transformation:

• Physical – Understand and appreciate the relationship between sound nutrition and how your body performs.

• Mental – Live a positive, creative life with a sense of control and awareness with the ability to problem solve.

• Emotional – Respond resiliently to the flow of everyday life and express and manage your feelings effectively.

• Spiritual – Find meaning in life and define individual purpose through faith, values, ethics and morals.

• Social/Cultural – Develop meaningful relationships, communicate feelings and needs in an appropriate manner.

Education – The process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at a school or university; an enlightening experience

Mentoring – To support and encourage people to manage their own learning in order that they may maximize their potential, develop their skills, improve their performance and become the person they want to be.

Advocacy – Public support for or recommendation of a particular cause or policy.

As a non-profit organization, through our mission and vision, EMB Chrysalis Foundation wants to empower individuals (men, women and children) who are disenfranchised (deprived of power; marginalized) disadvantaged ((of a person or area) in unfavorable circumstances, especially with regard to financial or social opportunities) and are in a preparatory or transitional state. EMB Chrysalis Foundation will strive to provide resources throughout the country and world-wide that align with its areas of concentration.
